Russian phenom Alexander Serafimov is a stylesmart darling of the best kind. This innovative designer has produced concept art as well as finished designs incorporating a unique and patented fastening system described below.

"The fastener system is applicable to any kind of garment. It is organic on lingerie, swimwear, dresses, skirts, and pants, as well as on heavy overcoats. It can lie not only through the straight line (like a zipper), but also through the lines of any crookedness. It can dominate visually as the basic decorative element of the composition and so to say "vanish" in the decorum.

This looping technique is, in brief, a knit version of a metal zipper; as well as being an ornamental and design element of creation of knitwear. The "zipper" is comprised of knitted loops -- mainly elliptical in shape. These loops slip one into another in an almost weaving pattern, a back and forth motion, working the closure either up or down.
